As with most colds and flus you should get something to keep the temperature down if its up,or paracetamol to take the edge off it.Drink lots of water and up your vitamin C intake also.In terms of natural remedies to assist,honey and ginger are good to help.Some like a hot whisky but its probably just for the warmth that its of any use and is enjoyed but wont do any major harm at all as long as your water in take is increased.Nauturally rest is also good as the body is ran down when your sick.Will take a spell to clear it out.Get up once or twice a day,hot shower to steam up the room will also help.Another natural remedy ive heard is cut an onion and place it near your bed. |

I'd be pretty sure it's not man flu miss Car more than likely just a bad cold or cough you've pick up this time of the year
If it waz m/flu you'de no about its brutal,I hade it a little bit later this time two years age honest ta god some of the symptoms were draining.
I continually had a runny nose a wet tissue in my pocket.
A Little bit of a weasel in my chest and only getting 9 hours sleep a night 
Besides I'm almost certain wemen don't or can't get it.
There's loads of ones out there charms for different sicknesses friend of mine had the charm for the burns but unfortunately he passed away (Died) some time ago and never passed the charm on beforehand.

Man flu = over reacting to what seems like a small illness.
Women can get that? But it does not really exist. It just so happens that mens immune systems react differently to womens. So two can get the flu in the house and it can affect a woman less than a man.
They believe this is down to evolution, men needed to get over the illness asap, so the immune system goes into overdrive, and a woman could afford to react more gently to the illness.
In modern times this means men can be called wimps for being sick.
But no man is ever a wimp for being sick, and should always take time off and try get help if needed. |

As mentioned, paracetamol is anti pyretic so will keep the temperature down. Anything with pseudoephedrine will keep the sniffles at bay, then an anti inflammatory to reduce congestion and swelling, as most pain is caused by inflammation! Throw a pro plus or caffeine in and you're sorted, get back on your feet I've coffee ordered) |

Plenty of rest. Drink lots of liquids. Vit C with zinc and as a painkiller/anti inflammatory please take paracetamol. I have my iwn methods, all natural. I hope you'll get well soon!

It's not a myth as progestogen has been proven to fight most flues.
And as we know women have progestogen in abundance compard to men.
Ergo men get the flu worse as they don't have the progestogen steroid to fight it.
