What is/are the best movie/movies you've ever watched old or new, funny/serious /horror etc.. I'm one of those people that seems to not have seen any movie worth watching so I may aswell make a start now with the holidays.

Thank you. I actually watched full metal jacket when I was about 15. Actually brilliant and I forgot about it until now. The others are added to the list.

I’m watching Goodfellas right now! What’s movie. Bohemian Rhapsody was excellent. But it’s hard to beat Shawshank Redemption and the Green Mile.

Saw 'The Greatest Showman'last night, very enjoyable. Hugh Jackman is brilliant but so are the rest of the cast.

I really liked Deborah Kerr in 'An affair to remember', up until then I couldn't stand her. 'Somewhere in time' is another, little known but romantic film I like (Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour, Christopher Plummer).

For seasonal films like 'The Princess Bride' & 'It's a wonderful life' are hard to beat.... I would love a woman to look at me the way Donna Reed looks at Jimmy Stewart in the latter film.

Saw 'Wind River' the other night....excellent modern day, sometimes gruesome whodunit set in snowey Missouri with Elizabeth Oleson & Jeremy Renner.

There's loads though and IMDB is a great movie resource, a good rule of thumb is.... anything with Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams in it.... You get both of them in 'American Hustle' along with Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale, great film that, imho.
