Does anyone still hurtle wrecklessly through the supermarket Christmas week with a ton of shopping loaded into the trolley?

TK red lemonade and cream soda

Tins of USA biscuits

Chicken liver patê and water crackers

Bags of crisps

Slaps of harp larger and no brand whiskey

Ofcourse ,then the mad dash to get to the checkout before the other crazies

No actually we dont get involved in all the madness .Trick is to gather the extra bits and pieces in every week in our normal shop in the weeks leading up to xmas .Makes life alot easier and you don't have a massive bill in one shop .

No need, some shops open the next day and even some shops open on the day. Panic buying no longer required.

Do you know that's always my favourite food shop (sad I know)... But this year I'm way more organised and have been picking up stuff for weeks and now I don't need anything I have ruined it for myself

Anyone need me to do their shopping?!?

over the hills and far away

I used to buy way too much crap in my Christmas food shop most of which ended up being thrown out. Now I just buy the necessities. Shops are only closed for one day so no need for bulk buying

I stopped doing the mad trolley dash, ended up buying lots that went out of date as it didn't get eaten

So now go to the local shop with a list of what I actually need

So much cheaper

Why do people get so worked up about buying so much shopping for Christmas? Its one day and you can only eat so much before you blow up anyway lol..

My mother is the same, will be panicking like mad wondering if she bought enough of this or that - calm down, once theres plenty of alcohol everything will be grand
