.

One for the guys and girls and couples here .

I know everyone is different but generaly what do you like to see in a message I’v sent a few messages since returning. Wasnt a copy and paste job and i put effort in as well as compliments . So what would you like to see and also what do you think is enough from your own sending ?

I woulnt mind not getting a reply but few instant blocks which i found very strange.

More than two lines in a message - introduce yourself, make sure you fit what they're after, tell them what you have to offer, be sensible and respectful

Definite no gos:

Anything related to weekends/holidays.

Anything related to the weather.

"Let's chat and see where it takes us"

"Wanna fuck"

Any kind of complaints about time wasters, fakes or not being able to get a meet.

Those are my personal pet hates, I'm sure others opinions would differ.

I wouldnt take the block personally some people just use it as a streamlining tool.

I tend to only message if I already have something to say, so my messages take very little effort as I am just writing whats in my head, not trying to match a message to a woman if that makes sense.

Well whatever happens, you can't take offence, there are so many different reasons for no response or getting blocked, just move along lol.

your imagination

I wouldn't take offense over being blocked in those instances OP, just means you didn't match their preferences. If someone has very open filters, they probably get mailed by a lot of folk who don't actually match their preferences, so its easier to block than reply to everyone.

Personally I prefer to use my filters wisely and only reserve blocking for folk who act like complete and utter twats, or locals I suspect I may know and wish to avoid

I generally find 75% of people reply to a first message.

Normally if a person catches my eye I normally give it a few days see there posts, or if the profile text changes.

I have a good gauge if I may be what they like or vice versa.

However any time I don't get a reply it's from a text I've cold sent.

Fab should have this advice up as a sticky on top of page! Can we add "free to meet now" to the list

It would actually be a great idea to have some kind of an option for people to put a little sticky note on their profile when they're free to meet now.

As a person who's free time is always unplanned and unexpected I would greatly appreciate some kind of a search option of who's free now in surrounding area...

That would also eliminate so many "wanna fuck" and "are you free now" messages...
