Looking for your thoughts on time wasters.
I deleted my last profile and started again a few weeks back. Some time wasters seem to be gone from Fab but I am sure have been replaced by others.
I am even doubting a lot of the verifications.
I am wondering do you use other sites and do you have the same problem on them.

There does seem to be a lot of 'serial unlosers'. People who delete after folk have caught on to the fact that they're fantasists or fab-hunters. But they return a week or two later on new (and even multiple) new profiles and start over.
Some are easy to spot, because they steal their pics from the same sources repeatedly. Others are identifiable by the general tone and style of forum posts, grammar and even noticeable spelling errors. For example there's one repeat offender who can't distinguish between a third level educational institution and a children's art project... Dead giveaway each time!
Google reverse image search and tineye are your friend for the obvious ones... The other ones you'll just start to recognise.
Verification means nothing anymore, as many of these serials simply verify their new profiles from their old one before deleting... They may not be able to display the veri itself, but the green tick saying they've been met in person is enough to fool most. |

Reverse image search. It takes an image and looks on popular sites for other locations an image was posted. It’s a good way of ing out the phantom fabbers. |

If you're on a pc you can right-click on an image and then select Google image search to see if that image appears elsewhere on the Internet. You'd be amazed how many folk are using stolen photos from celebrities, online lingerie stores, porn sites, escort sites, etc. If you're using a mobile, simply press and hold the image until the pop-up menu appears. Google reverse image search is one of the options... Click on it to check.
There's nearly always at least 1 or 2 stolen photos on page 1 of hotpics if you want to test it out |

"Ha! Just reverse searched my own photos, some of the results were hilarious "
Can be a bit of a giggle alright... But sometimes its a good exercise too - once in a while you find someone is using your Fab photos elsewhere |

If anyone's not sure they're using tineye or Google reverse correctly, there's a photo on page 1 of Irish hot pics at the moment you can check. Someone is passing off a Facebook meme as their photo. It's pretty easy to spot, but check it anyway to see how it identifies stolen pics. |

Reverse imaging is brilliant.
I will use in future.
Just had two messages this morning and I asked why their versions were not public.
One has not replied and the other said they did not not know how to make public
Time waster me thinks. |

I can never understand why timewasters do it. If arrangenents are made they should be kept to, if something comes up then message and apologise but it's a low thing to arrange a meet and not bother showing up. |
