It's a fair bit out. Ya wouldn't be drinking in town and heading there.

We use Hotels dot com

Like any other hotel comparing site you can search by area, price, accommodation type, etc.

Its their reward scheme, which is pretty good, that marks it out from the rest for us. Every 10 nights you book, you get a free night (10 nights mount up pretty quick in this game). Plus they'll match any lower price you've been quoted on other sites/apps.

Their customer care is a live chat on messenger. We've had refunds, date changes, name changes, you name it, they cant do enough for you.

You'd nearly swear we work for'em.

We've been to one or two parties in them, or what we are guessing were them. We were not the organisers, but they were more than acceptable, great for no pressure city centre pre party/meet cocktails.

We are big fans of an airport hotel, like mentioned above lots of people about, never an issue with extra guests in rooms/cards to use the lifts/reception questioning everyone who comes through the front door, etc (kink blocking passion killers)

The Maldron was our go to for a long time, started using the Hilton lately and we were at a M&G/Social, off another site many, many moons ago in the Carlton, so no issues there either.
