Hi everyone thanks lowlandman for the idea

I am going to get the ball rolling with holding a coffee morning in Cork City on the 20th of December

This meet is open to males females and couples verified or unverified

It is going to be a coffee meet with the added bonus of raising money for homelessness as each person will be asked to donate €5 for a good cause.

The charity for the cork morning is going to be cork penny dinners for all those that know of this charity they do great work wit helping the homeless and depend greatly on donations so think this is the option I'm going to go wit if anyone has any other suggestions feel free to pm me. Due to the large response I have had venue is being arranged to deal with the amount of people attending I would like to thank everyone for the support and I am looking forward to seeing everyone support their local charities. I'm still taking names so keep them coming xxx

Applaud the idea, I assume people attending can make their own donations DIRECTLY, to said Charity designated. A particular "weekend break club" comes to mind,(scam). I'm sure all would like to ensure all donations, given, are done so DIRECTLY, to avoid any doubts otherwise.

I do indeed. It was good to meet other fabbers and I realise that I am outside the age range of many of you and that Fun is not meeting at the moment. However I think these gatherings are good and, if a good cause benefits, then everyone wins.
