Is there any worse feeling then messaging somone on here you really fancy and you check your messaged and it says deleted on there side  . Oh it hurts lol |

Best to just accept it, dust that keyboard down and go find someone else to chat to. Forums are a good place to raise your presence.
But yeah, it gives the sinking feeling. Best not vesting too much into it feelings wise in the initial phases |

Women get hundreds of messages on here, even if they were to reply and say " no thanks" that would take all of 5 seconds id say, or maybe 20, depends on the size of their thumbs really, some have man thumbs and ya know them smartphone qwerty keyboards can be dodgy enough, a no thanks would be the preferred let down, after a while though I can see how it would jaded, and as inventive as some messages can be, I can appreciate many women developing writers block !  |

The reason why we don't reply a millions times. These threads are posted every single day. It's easier to delete as the no thanks will always come back with abuse or why but please etc.. I've said this before as the fab rules state no reply means no interest. Plus do you reply to every junk mail you receive in email or laterbox offering this or that with a no thanks in the real world of course you don't. The same applies with all these no reply means no interest.. why oh why is that so hard to understand...  |

Easier to be cruel than kind in a way .Would you prefer they gave you false hope ?Try not to take it personally ,it ll save you a lot of time and effort in the long run .Just move on and accept they wherent interested . |

My profile says what I don’t want. I still get people I’ve no interest in messaging me. That’s why I hit the delete button. If my profile isn’t regarded why would those people listen to any of my responses? But yeah I wish there was more ladies to ratio out the single men it is hard for them like! I’ve met loads of nice guys on here. They arnt who I’m looking to meet but for those guys, I really do hope they get some nice ladies coming their way! |

When in fab people only get a little piece of what a profile/ person is like. You can really get to know anyone from a few messages so when a message is deleted either read or not read just think it's there loss and not yours. I always think feck them they may be attractive to the eye but fecking ugly ignorant and up there arses behind a nice pic. So if they delete a message just think hey ho it's off the next one I go |

I don't send crazy amounts of messages but I do send a few here and there, almost always the first of those messages is exploratory and sent to someone who's profile I've seen something in.
Out of all the first messages I've sent I'd say I've had 10% replies. I'm always polite, I will mention what it is that's led me to message and I'm never pushy in that I sound like I'm wanting or expecting anything.
It can be rubbish when you don't get a reply and your message gets deleted, or it just sits there in a yellow box unread. But it's not life ending, we're not all going to be attracted to each other so it is what it is. When I do get a "match" though and start getting to know someone new on here it probably feels better than it would if I was getting messages from everyone.
The fun might just go out of it all if it were too easy, the chase is very exciting and if I felt like I didn't need to put the effort in I might just get bored with the whole thing. |
