Even though I live not to far from Belfast I haven't stayed in hotels there. Can anyone suggest any decent hotels to stay in?

Ashbourne

I Have stayed at the hilton, the europa, ramada, wellington park, and radisson

depends on what your at up there really, i like radissons, last time i was at the wellington park the rooms were a bit tattered looking, I think the hilton is over priced, europa , the rooms are small, ramada was cheap, i guess the radisson is where i would stay again

Thanks for the reply. Works night out. Most are closer to the area so thought instead of getting taxis/late public transport make a proper night of it. Ever tried flint. It came up in search suggestions

Belfast

My late partner and I stayed at most hotels round Belfast during the time we had together, including those mentioned above and without doubt our favourite which we often frequented and kept going back to was the Malone Lodge. I would suggest spending a little extra for an executive room rather than a standard room, which still won't cost more than standard rooms in other hotels. Or if you really want to go for get a suite.

Was just always something about the Malone Lodge that felt so spacious and cosy.

Also, the Malone Lodge has its own parking area out the back for residents. Completely free which is a nice perk.

Here, there & everywhere

We stayed in the maldron on Saturday night, very impressed, any of the premier inns is ok for the price. Dukes would also be a favourite of ours

Is it handy to city centre?

The maldron is behind Robinson bar so can’t get any more central tbh all those hotels I have mentioned are right in the centre

Well that's the thing, if you stay at any other hotels like the Hilton or Europa or whatever you also have to pay for parking overnight on top of the room cost. The Malone Lodge has underground parking too. I always found it so handy.

On the odd occasion if I had indulged too much the night before and didn't feel up to driving right after check out I would go into their bar and have breakfast and coffee

Definitely a great hotel.

The executive rooms are massive compared to other hotels I have stayed in.
