well the Brits got a hand draw ... csnt see N.Ireland getting out of their group ... tough group for Mc Carty to get us out of ... we will probably have to rely on the playoff route |

If we dont get a playoff from the qualifiers we will more than likey get one of the re issued play off places from the nations league once everyone above us already qualifies ffs its harder not to get into the euros now |

A decent draw...even during our awful past 12 months we still drew with Denmark twice so should be able to aim for a result against them at home if mccarthy gets us playing abit better.The Swiss are strong as a team but we shouldnt fear them, its not inconceivable that we wouldn't get a result home or away whatever that may look like. Georgia are awkward but we have never lost to them so id expect us to find a way past them with a typical 1-0...Gibraltar is a good draw,easy to get to and easy to get a result off.Im hopeful of us getting 2nd if we can get abit of luck.Logistically all bar Georgia are easy to travel to and modern countries so thats a positive also.Lastly the fact the Swiss and Danes are in the nations league play offs already means a possible 3rd place finish in the group could still see us get a play off spot...also 5 team group instead of a 6 team group is goo d as it will give mccarthy a free international week to get the squad together either for a friendly or just training camp.Overall im happy enough with it,there is nothing in the group we dont know about so we should be hopeful of trying to split the top two seeds. |

Northern Ireland fans always travel more in hope than expectation - hence why we enjoy ourselves so much.
As such it’s a great draw in my opinion - away trips to (at least) Holland and Germany - can’t wait!!
Republic struck lucky with the draw as usual but I still don’t see our neighbours progressing - I hope you do however. We all had a blast together in Paris in 2016

As such it’s a great draw in my opinion - away trips to (at least) Holland and Germany - can’t wait!!
Republic struck lucky with the draw as usual but I still don’t see our neighbours progressing - I hope you do however. We all had a blast together in Paris in 2016

I can't complain about Wales group, there is a chance of us qualifying. For the person who mentioned paris 2016 was a blast. I definitely agree, Wales vs N Ireland, was one of the best days of my life. Not because of the result, it was just both set of fans appreciating being involved in the euros. Both fans got on really well and its was just one mad party. |
