The past few week when I’ve had to evacuate my bowl I’ve noticed what I would think is about half and egg cupful of bright fresh red blood in the toilet. The stool is not covered in blood as I’ve had a touch and feel of it. I don’t think I’ve piles because I’ve no obvious bum discomfort. I doubt it’s cancer?.. they say that dark coffee grounds like poop is bleeding further up the shite chute.
This has happened perhaps 3/4 times in last month
Any idea anyone? |

You said it couldn't be piles but could be internal piles that would leave traces of fresh blood. |

With you it's beginning to look like the boy that cried wolf. Anyone with a bit of cop on should know if there is blood regularly in ur stools get to the doctor asap. |

Sounds like piles to me tbh... I suffer from it tbh! It can cause that tbh! But I only had that happen when I was really bad with it. Scared the shit outa me at the start as I didn’t know what the fuck was happening.... my stubbornness/wanted to pretend it was nothing ended up me getting extreme stomach cramps that would have me bend over in pain. Hopefully that’s all it is, but go to your gp, a lot of it is to do with diet if it is piles(lack of fibre). Hope that is all it is and might help ease your worries! Deal with it sooner rather than ignoring it like I did |

Something similar was bleeding badly but stuck head in the sand as my father died of bowel cancer and i thought the worse came home early from work as so week fell unconscious on floor friend found me ambulance rushed to hospital had lost pints of blood had to have transfusions tests done found hole in bottom of my stomach a few stitches sorted doctor said if i was not found so quickly i would have died |

I suffer similar but have had tubes in me both ends (medical spitroast?) Not fun but nothing sinister. Was told it's weak skin in the lower area due to piles previously, so will happen occasionally. Not pleasant though but hey, women do it every month and we don't hear them giving out about it |

It could be piles, or anal fissures. They are both very common. Or it could be lots of other things. You need to see a doctor, and get a professional opinion. It's probably not serious, but good to find out more about what's happening in your body. |

If its bright red blood then its most likely an anal fissure very common especially if you have passed a hard stool..bright red blood can be a sign of bleeding further up the digestive tract but if this was the case you would be dead within a few hours and i hazard a guess your still alive now?
Darker foul smelling blood is a sign of duodenal ulcer very serious if not treated early enough..anyway main thing is get to a doctor asap ..will most likely tell you its an anal fissure or tear..if you have an ulcer you would feel quite nauseous to the point of passing out so dont worry too much lad  |

Mate if your not a GP which obviously your not get yourself to a professional and get that shit ruled out asap.
Rather be put at rest with peace of mind by someone who DOES know than sit assuming it's nothing and finding out the hard way later. |

Please go and get checked. Any bleeding from the bottom should be checked out. Sounds like a tear to me, and it re-opens when you go to the loo. You could just need a stool softner. But go and get checked anyway. Even go to a different doctor if your shy. I had bleeding before, i had piles..i got a test in hospital..nothing to it..gave me an emyema?.to clear the bowel, put me asleep, woke up, went home..all ok..just piles. So get it checked out. The colour of the blood is important, dark if its there a while, so could be further on up in the bowel or tummy,. And bright if its new fresh blood. Let us all know how you get on.. |

Crohns
Johnny Giles
No cancer just bad bum plumbing. Doc says it won’t impact on erectile function or penis size so I am happy to know I’m not dying just yet.

I hope op u are being honest in your posting as its a very serious topic and not one to post to get attention as at times u make things up my father died of colon cancer and i have to get tested ever few years i saw what it was like to die of said cancer if genuine fair play but for medical problems like u posted go to doctor immediately not waste time posting on fab |
