Am I the only person in the whole of Ireland that thinks this Black Friday business is just a big con?

I mean, we never had Black Friday 10 years ago and any ‘deals’ aren’t deals at all unless you want to sit out at Tesco all night to get a 32” tv for €100.

Load of pish!

Started in the US, China has its own version of 'Singles Day' because there's 100s of millions of single people there.

Its all a marketing ploy to generate sales. Bag of sh.te

I find myself that some shops offer better deals. Like today although not advertised I found out Ernest Jones was offering price match on everything/ some sort of deal. So I enjoyed a fair few watches for the family. Was finding watches at £100 that should of been £300/400 and they were doing it at the hundred provided that I shown them the site. So I brought 4 watches that would easily cost over a £1500 for £100 each.
