Do you believe you get deals on Black Friday or do you think it’s all a scam ?
Post here if you intend to buy today and if so what did you get.
I am not in the market for anything so I’ll be keeping my cash this year |

Its the best value sale leading up to Christmas if you had your eye on something.
There are better reductions at other times of the year like January but of you need to get some presents its worth buying in this window |

If you've already been looking at something for a while, it can be a good time to snap it up.
Otherwise, it's generally retailers trying to push slow-moving stock and get their sales moving and boost cashflow in a month that is pretty dead otherwise. |

I need a new oven, but instead of looking online for it, I'm going to support the local guy who will install and deliver for free and has been reliable in the past. I would rather try to support smaller local retailers where possible. |

I think it's a total scam. Why do we have to copy every commercial fart that comes from the US?
Btw I need a new owen too, I checked the internet yesterday, any deal that are out there are the usual ones but they changed the deal label background color to black. |

The deals are not always what they seem.
You might see a TV advertised with a discount of 300 euro but that was the price listed when the TV came out last February and all through the year discounts have been applied so the chances are it was only a 50 euro discount on last months price. They are just blowing the stock out ahead of next year's new lines.
The question is do we need any of the stuff we buy on what's clever marketing playing with our emotions.

Total scam ! They jack up the prices in the weeks leading up to it then put them
on “black Friday sale “ which In truth is only a bit less than what they had it up for the month before . |
