I agree. However it could be they have more messages for their own good.

What annoys me is when you do get a reply that is very brief.

And what really annoys me is when you do chat for a bit they then stop chatting.

You wonder why people are on here.

Totally true. I supose the point I'm making is if you don't chat to someone even a little you could be loosing out on a great meet. I know that a lot say that they get abuse when they reject people but those people whom are abusive have ruined the art of the chat for the rest of us whom can be mature enough to understand that you are not gonna be eveyones cup of tea.

I like chatting but a lot of times if you engage with others they presume you’re going to meet them and then it gets awkward and I start to feel really hassled which I hate... not blaming anyone.., that’s just me

I think it’s very much like life also. How often have you seen someone at work for example and thought they were a plonker but then got to know them and find out they’re really interesting. Although ever coin has a flip side and it’s true that once a plonker always a plonker. Ha ha

Another good point. And true a chat is just a chat and not an invitation for a meet. But by chatting do you not think it makes for a better decision on a meet other than a profile.
