Hi all you beautiful Fabbers
Only been active on the forums now a day or two, but must say i am loving the community banter and camraderie.
Just wondering if there is anything i could do to get that elusive first verification...its not frustrating, its just a bit of a self confidence killer at yhis rate.
Hope to hear from some of you |

Hiya hun. Don’t let here knock your confidence. Every guy struggles here because it’s basically a numbers game. You’re profile looks well put together so I’d just keep chatting to people and stay patient. Maybe keep an eye out for people offering to meet for a social drink/ coffee sometime. It’s a great way of getting that first verification.
Best of luck. xx |

I’ve being there and said that to myself....your only bet is to get to a social, get the invite and whatever you have on, cancel it and get to a social....oh and there is a great book in Easons at the minute, called patience |

"There is no magic formula OP you just have to make yourself as appealing as possible and cut down less on who you can't meet. "
It is hard enough _ortobello sionnach.....I’m 5 verifications in....(and have met some of those a few times each)it doesn’t get much easier....it is a numbers game.....I think even you shot me down awhile ago, when I send a well composed mail. Chin up OP and stay on forum and chat, it will happen for you |

Thanks for the kind words everyone just a few thing, i dont discount anyone when it comes to social meets, i love meeting new people so id gladly meet anyone for a coffee or drink. I did meet a couple off here about 3 months ago and it went great, but we havent had a follow up yet due to distance, but we keep in contact. So many lovely people on here, i do hope it is only a matter of time |

You should be ok buddy as the advice above just keep chatting and try to get to a social.
Could the couple you met not give you one... they dont have to be play meets. One thing that might work against you would be not accomodating but I get that can be hard to address |

If you are ever passing through Kildare happy to meet for coffee to verify you. Always happy to help genuine newbies.
Even though I was put off today. Messaged back and forth to new profile gave great advice and politely turned him down for a meet one to one. He then asked to be involved in my first MFM which I had on my profile. He said I had a narky attitude in the way I turned him down! All I said was I was hardly going to be having you for my first MFM when I won't meet you one to one! |

You see OP, there is always Florence nightingales ready to help you out.....but I’d say she is far from having the mind of a Nun. I’ll have to take her up on that coffee myself |
