Ill probably get in trouble for this, but who cares! A few weeks ago I decided to make a fake female profile. (I know some people on here will give me abuse, but no harm was given). I was extremely bored one day and wanted to see just how many messages I would get and really see the extent of attention females get on here. So here was the setup;
Female profile, age 20, slim, zero pictures on profile, zero information on bio, just basic stats and that was it.
I made the profile around morning/afternoon time. By late evening, I had received over 90 messages from males and a load of winks and friend requests. Never replied to a single message. The messages mostly consisted of 'wanna fuck now', 'wanna cam', 'would you suck this?', shit loads of dick pics, messages asking why I wasnt repling, cheeky/abusive messages telling me to fuck off because I was reading messages and not replying etc.
So what did I learn? A 'female' with no pictures, basic stats, no bio etc got over 90 messages in under 24 hours. The competition for males on here to get noticed is crazy. Comparing the fake profile to a real female profile whos very attractive and has a great bio etc, im sure the messages would be double in quantity, making it even more difficult for guys to get a foot in. A good lot of men on here are absolutely nuts in terms of how they speak to a female and what they expect from a female who theyve never met before. I also learnt the reason why nearly 9 out of 10 messages I send to females are never opened because theres just too many to go through and read. I also finally learnt that Im glad I made the decision to mainly use fab for the forums now and not waste as much time chasing the ladies, because bloody hell, I have so much respect for what they put up with.
What are your opinions on this? I know its probably no news to most on here, but for me it was a real eye opener  |

Fair play to you for doing it. Fair play for creating a post about it.
With time that craziness really dies down. Most weirdos travel straight into block list not to be seen again. We also keep extending our profiles to the point where people who actually read profiles get put off after reading about so many Not to dos, ones who don't read it - end up in a block list too.
Inbox generally only picks up with new uploaded pictures or statuses which is perfectly manageable.
And yes, some messages are abusive, some cocky, most of them- pure boring but in all that pile of crap there's about 3% of pure diamonds that make it all worthwhile  |

Recently turned of a certain filter again it is mental absolutely.No abuse as of yet thank god but definitely it's a pain. I am glad you can see from the other side of the fence now OP. Great idea though and I admire your honesty about it. Full of fakes here anyway and desparate baby boys lol |

As you said I dont think it will be news to many on here...
I think one major problem with Fab is that its only when you start using the forums that most guys start to realise how much mail women get, and in general it wouldnt tend to be guys using the forum sendinh wanna fuck now messages.
Yea there are FAQ's but fab does a very bad job explaining/enforcing its ethicate to newbies...
Prehaps to have a fab account ypi should need to sign up for a week with a generic female profile like yours  |

I totally agree with the enforcing ethecate to newbies. They should be stricter maybe recommend forums to people. I did not find forums myself for a good while. |

It was just a bit of an eye opener to be honest. I always knew through speaking to people that females usually get bombarded with messages and attention. Certainly makes me think twice now when messaging any female on here. Reading through all the messages I got, I can see how easy it is for genuinely thoughful messages to get lost amongst the 'hey, wanna fuck now' messages.
But sure, it passed a very boring, rainy and lazy day in the house for me |

This just shows how low standards can be. Hint of a female is enough. Everyman on this site should read this post and ask themselves why they're here. Theres great men here. Men thst know how to communicate, behave, treat a woman and then theres the fools. If you message a blank profile buy a blow up doll. This kind of post just makes the good guys look better. Those ones always stand out |

Our profile says single males don't contact us. Low and behold everytime we log in we have single male friends requests and msgs. What goes through their heads sending a request or msg after reading our profile I don't know. Poor souls |

You haven't finished your experiment: put up filters and see how many messages you then get. Yes it's mad when you first join but after the first avalanche and with some barriers in place there's only the odd snow ball coming in. And if you want a bit of fresh snow you just have to put up a new pic or status update. |

In my first 24 hours here, I received 200+ mails, was bombarded. I also had filters set so only my people in my selected age bracket could contact me. I received such vulgar messages of lads, couples who the male only ever massaged and loads if non veri profiles. (We are all new once do I don't mind) but what they send you would never say yo a person in a bar.
Even now inhave 60 unopened messages because I like to talk to maybe one or two people at a time as it's to hard to stay focused if you are chatting to more than that. |

I the innocent I was signed up late one night back in August. I had two photos and a short profile. I woke up next morning to 402 unread messages. I was totally overwhelmed by the amount of messages that I was getting. It's calmed down now thankfully |

There is a initial bombardment but it calms down .. So my top Fab tip for single men. Don't bother messaging a brand new profile. You are lost among hundreds of wanna fuck messages. Put her on your hot list and patiently wait minimum six weeks before you message her. It's how my partner in crime bagged me here. He patiently waited until one Saturday night late he saw me online when I was here six weeks. His patience paid off in the end.

Even though I respectfully reply to say I'm not interested in meeting new people (which I'm not ) I like the forums etc/social side.... I then get another reply to say "thats ok I like social side too" ..... at that stage its a delete job. I do try answer every message though. On another point, is there a way of hiding when you're logged into fab WITHOUT hiding your actual profile?? |

It took about 5 minutes to create a blank profile. Checked the account later in the evening time for an hour or so then deleted it
I challenge all females to create a fake male profile and message as many females as possible and try to get a meet. First person to get one wins a prize |

Interesting experiment that I'm sure plenty do on here to get their kicks in other ways. The amount of obvious fake profile females is huge.
Fair play for posting your analysis of what you found. It may make you up your game OP when it comes to the tricky first mail. Not everyone reads the forums but I'm sure you will find it a decent learning experiencr from the vantage point of the female point of view.
It might wake up some of the other guys here too. In what way am I coming to females 'rescue' by posting this topic? And why would you think I would be 'drowning in pussy'? Oh yea, posting this and talking about the ratio of men and women, the amount of messages I got, some abusive messages and stating how much respect I have for females on here, you think the women are gonna come running after me? Why would they?
I made the profile weeks ago and it never even crossed my mind to post about it. Only came into my head after reading another forum topic.
