I generally try to avoid alcohol when going on a meet..maybe one drink to ease any nerves. I prefer to remember every minute of a meet. What do other like / do ?

Yes I like to be cold stone sober at a meet . But I have noticed a lot of people at parties have to be full of drink before they play . I don't need drink to get me going .

I think it's all related what and how much you drink.

Personally, i have been to restaurants had a good meal with a bottle of wine (shared of course) and then moved into bed... Noone was d*unk or "blurred".

I think the problem is with the ones that are unable to stop drinking before getting d*unk.... But maybe is just me.

Isn't this what is meant for "enjoy responsibly"?

Agree with this ...if both are comfortable a drink or two wont spoil a good meet. If its going badly wrong .. dont bloody drink ..beer goggles

South Side.

I like to meet in a pub or hotel bar, but I don't drink anyway, but I'm OK if the others want to drink. Any bad meets I've had were as a result of the Male of the couple drinking too much.

There are way too many couples and ladies on this scene with alcohol issues. I’ve seen d*unk couples have stand up rows at places like The Venue or parties. I’ve been to a private party where the single female fell asleep thru booze then woke up and started a sectarian row.

If you need more than one drink you’re in the wrong scene for the wrong reasons.

Spending time with a lovely guy and sharing a bottle of wine while enjoying a good atmosphere is hardky problematic.... nothing has ever ended badly for me on this front
