When was the last time you started to reply to a post and before hitting send you suddenly felt this overwhelming sensation of can't be arsed and just deleted instead?

Just done that a few times since coming on and haven't felt like that in a long while. Is this just the slippery slope?

Regularly. I sometimes read back what I've typed and thought to myself, thats boring so I'm better off saying nothing. No point talking for the sake of it

My rule is, if I can't be arsed that means the chemistry isn't there. And the vast majority of the time that's the case. Nothing should ever be forced so I say, if you're not into it, dint bother.

I get that Steph after clocks change and early nights and dark mornings have been around too long but yesterday was in my mind one of the best days this year. Mediterranean warm breeze and blue skies. Was lovely here.

I had an accident 5 weeks ago and I've a few weeks maybe a month still before fully recovered to work again. Time off been nice but when self employed it's tighten belts time.

This is true but seen a few posts that maybe need an opposite view even if I don't hold it ur just can't be arsed.

Was self employed few yrs ago and was laid up for 8 wks. Was tough. Hope you recover quickly.

Working shift work is definitely taking it's toll on me. Feel like it's dark going to work dark coming home.

I've done that many times, having second thoughts. Don't really see where the slippery slope comes in.

Have to say its the complete lack of a sense of humour, or just the fact that people take themselves far too seriously that puts me off posting sometimes.Perhaps its because its so one dimensionnal when you read text that people simply cant infelect any brevity at all

.

.either that or they are humourless and firmly believe everyone else must also be blessed with the same flawed personality..

People's humour can be quite different... not everyone is looking for light flippant humoured chat either. Humour can also be one dimensional in that it's always got a wee dig to it or same sarcasm, so most people I'd day are one dimensional on the forums. You only get to know one very small side of a person on forums.

I go through phases like that as most people probably do. I drop off for a while but pop back in every now and again.
