We sure have....the rich get richer....i know affordable rent wont solve it....but itll help
"I agree about the affordable rent  it needs to be a complete overhaul of our approch to the tax and welfare system that will take years to do if its donr correctly. Until then its patchwork.

What I ment was the crisis is alot bigger than just housing, therefore just concentrating on housing alone wont solve it"I get you, i came across an interesting initiative last week, within the various county councils..each new tenant receiving keys to their new home are also required to liase with a worker from one of the ngos, focus ireland, simon community etc, on a weekly basis for a minimum of three months, longer if necessary. Within this, there supported, with getting children into schools, changing doctors etc etc, whatever needs they may have in fact, similar to the wrap around service your highlighting, i think.. | |||

Completely restored my faith in these organisations.. | |||
