..just out of interest, when do you tell the person you have kid(s)?
I have a first date on Friday and I haven’t told her yet that I have kids but for so reason I’m reluctant to tell her! But at the same time I don’t want to leave it too late either as I hate hiding things from people. |

Also if it’s dating related and not fab related you 100% should be upfront about your children as it’s a deal breaker for some especially if they see it developing beyond a first date |

I think you’re right, should have told her earlier on but there’s still time |

"I have been in a relationship with a woman who has a child. Still on good terms but the relationship was a disaster. It's totally diff then dating somebody with no kids "
I doubt it was down to the fact she had a kid? |

I doubt it was down to the fact she had a kid?" alot of stuff has to be pre planned around children and rightly so kids come first in a relationship. Dated women without kids. Very different |

Been a dad is part of who you are therefore it should be one of the first things you tell her.. 90% of ppl are parents these days anyways it might not make a shred of difference if she is that keen on you... good luck on your date op |

When I attempted online dating, I had it on my profile that I have a kid.
I completely understand some people don't want to date people with kids. That's fine.
But no point having them message in the first place. Always 100% up front about my situation with regards my kid. Don't see a reason why I wouldn't. |

I’d like to think those without kids have busy lives too that require some sort o preplannig
FYI I’m not getting at you but this attitude towards single parents annoys the tits off of me because those without kids see it as baggage sorry but they’re not! Kids or not I live a full life between my daughter rugby work and friends and try find a balance as best as possible |

Work and heavy commitments outside of it in a voluntary setting. If I'm seeing a woman without kids and I know were both at home you can organise something off the cuff. Can you do the same when kids are involved? You can't. That's not been nasty it's just a fact. Kids come first in all relationships |
