Gemma and myself had this conversation one night. Does the sort of thing that’s often protrayed in American movies. Where a lady will pick up a man here on business or whatever and staying in a hotel and end up spending the night with him.
Does it really happen? Or is it farfetched nonsense. |

We pretty sure it would happen.. I have often spoke with mrs about her just sitting at hotelbar and my self sitting back watching it allhappen from a distance.. and see if guys would approach and chat her up...might even give that a go in dub next week when we overnighting |

Was in a bar in dublin recently. Majority of client are men. Few woman whom are there clearly escorts or similar nature. And we were pretty sure the bar staff or most ppl in the bar are aware what’s happening. |

Less common here but possible. Watch any hotel bar and it's usually full of men hoping and praying for something like that. There just aren't that many women. In the US a gal at a bar alone is almost certainly on the pull. |

We were at a hotel bar with another couple having a drink when a woman starts chatting and she ends up drinking with us. When it was time to go up to the room with the other couple the woman wanted to come 2. I have no idea if she knew what she would have been getting into but alas the other couple weren't keen so we'll never know. Perhaps it could have been a 5some rather than 4some! |

While working in a hotel bar I often got offered a drink and asked if I wanted there room number lol some fit business men but ha unfortunately I couldn’t go up as much as I wanted as I’d have lost my job. |

Seen it happen to my sister lots of times, OK she is a stunner but it was always amusing, best one ever was when we were invited by a relation for a tour of one of the Navy gunships, in the officers quarters two of them spent the evening trying to persudae her to come to their next officers evening. Do a little work in the accommodation sector and if defo happens,u see a Male or female check in as a single room for a week maybe more and some nites they end up bringing some up stairs,I'd say a lot of it is business people on sites like fab/tinder etc..but does defo happen ive witinessed on numerous occasions.. |

It does happen and I was very happy to oblige.....it was in Germany though.

I bumped into a woman at the bar in Ten Square in Belfast . Bar was packed. Chatted at bar as we both waited but she was the one being very chatty. When she touched my arm to re-inforce conversation points or as she laughed was a good sign. Genuinely thought she was by herself which I thought strange. Drinks got and the convo flowed. Next thing a guy walks up to her. Was her husband. I started to engineer my withdrawal but it soon became clear they wanted me to stay. And stay I did. For the night until morning.
