People lack manners in all walks of life and it shows on fab as well
This is reason why name and shaming isn't allowed. Because you don't know the motives behind the name and shame, and will only get one side of a story.
Reporting is the only way to go, fortunately or unfortunately |

Can you report someone for a no show? Seems to have the same issue as naming and shaming..
Agree 100% it happens in all walks of life, take it on the chin and onto the next one |

"Really hate time wasters. Why agree to meet and then stop answering messages ? Think they should be named and shamed "
Sometimes that can happen when the guy gets too eager/clingy/messaging constantly about the meet and turns you right off and the person doesn’t know how to say sorry but not interested now. I wouldn’t call them time wasters. I’ve had guys plan a meet in advance but on the day be nowhere to be seen, that’s a time waster |

I had a meet organised with someone, we were getting on great until she said she only does bareback. I politely declined and cancelled our meet. She specifically stated "safe sex" as one of her preferences. She called me a typical time waster. In this situation I think it would be unfair to name and shame me, as I really did nothing wrong yet in her eyes I was a time waster. |

It's because of this that a points system wouldn't work. It could be abused by those who hold a grudge.
In this case the poster could be "docked" points even though he did nothing wrong.
E8ay users would be familiar with the feedback system they use, it relies on the goodwill of others to keep your feedback at 100%, 1 slip and a bad review and you lose your perfect score. |
