I was watching snooker on the TV and it popped up at the bottom about a plane crash in NYC, I flicked over in time to see the 2nd plane hit, don't think I moved from the TV for about 12 hours! |

I was in school at the time rember it pretty well. Very sad so many lives lost in such a horrible way.
So many woke on that day to never return. The bravery of the firefighters entering the buildings trying to save lives while theres was taken.
Seen that the amount of people that has died since from illness relating to the aftermath clean up etc is nearly over the amount that was killed in the tragedy.
Taughts with the families on this day ........ |

"I was working for urban moving systems in New York and some of our lads captured footage of both planes hitting. "
I'd doubt they caught footage of the first plane hitting, after 17 years I think there's only one clear tape of that caught by the Nadae(sp?) brothers and one very crappy tape that doesn't really show it clearly |

Was called home from school early as soon as news travelled home. My sister was in the towers the day before and she and my uncle were staying very close where the had to be evaluated from the area. Remeber sitting watching it on sky news and all our neighbours were in as we were the only family with sky in our estate.

I was at work, internet was fairly limited st the time and news started to trickle in, thought it was just a plane crash.
Couple of months later a lady came in to my work place to finish up some work we were doing for her. She threw us £20 each as a tip, told us that she worked in the Twin Towers and was there that day and was lucky to get out alive. |

Google dancing Israelis. The urban moving systems dsncing israelis (and their subsequent appearanxe on israeli tv) are one the stranger aspects of 9/11 |
