Yes, there always a good investment, the organisers are offering a pricing scale, with the best value tickets going to peeps who have attended the event over the 3 years..clever initiative.. and good timing.. |

Never would I ever buy tickets for a gig without knowing the line-up, or at least 50% of the acts. It should be illegal to put them on sale without that.
I know lots of you are going to say it's about the experience but I've seen one years EP lineup that I personally would only have been interested in about 1p% of the acts and they are expensive tickets and weekend. |

Eh, no Cat, not going but I do hope ye all have a brilliant time.
Luckily I've seen the two headliners before, in great gigs, so I'm happy. None of the others I've seen listed really interest me either, so maybe I'm just getting into old fart territory these days |

Lineup for the first announcement is not too bad, plus there is all the other stuff as well. Not to mention it’s a great venue to kick back enjoy some beers and catch up with people, all going to plan we will be there |

It's the fun experience for us, it's a chance to get to see bands and listen to music that you would not normally see or listen too. And camping to boot with the family and friends with a few beers and food. Great weekend. Love it |

"Not overly enamoured with the initial announcement - having said that, the big bands usually aren’t peoples highlight of the weekend! "
Very true it all the other events and the small bands you have never heard of. Seems they are putting in a whole new area where the Oscar Wilde campsite is.... so wait and see what that is |

I think EP time is over for me....
Have been every year for about 8 years and maybe Im just getting older and more bitter but it just seems every year the festival changes just a bit (for the worse) the crowd gets a just bit younger (ok that part is probably me!) and they pack an extra few thousand people in!
Janis Joplin has been our refuge the last few years. 3 years ago the top field was practically empty, last year it was pretty full and they announced an extra 5000 tickets....and that was the deal breaker for me.
Going to ATN though, hoping for an early EP vibe from it!
Rant over! Sorry! |

No camper van, but we have some sort of upgraded camping there, we'll have the tent well marked so any nice couples going who fancy a beer and a chat say hi |

Decided to stay in hotel for the weekend this year. I love the camping aspect of festivals but "Picnic'camping is getting close to carnage the last few yrs. Maybe it's age or maybe I just like my comfort more and the thought of a hot shower every night, don't know which.!! |
