Dating sites becoming just like sex sites?

Recently this is what i have noticed.Are the good old days of guys asking a woman out on a "normal" date . Or in actual fact reading the profiles firstly to see if they are a possible match. What are peoples thoughts on this as people give out to people here for using it like a dating site? |

Its much easier to get sex on tinder than it is here its not just a guy think women know what they want and are quiet happy to have sex on first date |

I’d say in here you out line what is exactly that you want and also easier to just ignore or reject anyone. And priorities are different from one person to another.. I like it coz I’m specifically here for that and not playing around or wasting anyone’s time...!! |

I can honestly say I have had far more sex from Tinder than from here. Tinder isn't really a dating site any longer I think |

Fab kinda opened my eyes to the illusion of perfect relationships with so many married and attached on here cheating it's hard to feel it works at all |

I think it's the society we live in now. Everything is instant. People don't have to put effort in to get anything nowadays.
Want a car you walk into dealership take a loan and you have a car.
Want to watch a movie. No more going to video shop just hit a button and instant movie.
Seems you can have everything instantly now so why would anyone want to put effort into dating when you can have instant sex with someone.
How we interact has changed drastically since the internet so yes I think dating sites are just like hookup sites.

Most dating sites are the same as here guys and gals just looking for sex and both would be gagging for it. But a friend told me there are lots of serial daters just out to get wined and dined and vanish after your one date and appear back a few weeks later with a new site name . So he gave up just messers . |

True I"d say but the funny thing is guys just don't know how to sweet talk women even lol. Most just send one liners e.g let"s have sex without even saying hello lol = Immediate block from me.

Well im on a few like tindr and p o f and i find it harder to get even a date or a meet up from them . Than on here . Maby tindr is not as good when your liven in the sticks but i rarely get matches on it and i dont think im that bad lookin   |

Been doing the dating sites for years. Hopefully I have permanently quit now. My big issues with it.
1. I see the same gee bags year after year waiting for the one/ Mr. Right. It clearly doesn't work.
2. They want the man to spend ages crafting the perfect mail. I sort of understand it. But when I do this I'm probably still going to get rejected because my profile doesn't scream "normal" guy looking to get the express train to kidsville.
3. Dating sites seem to be designed to be addictive wastes of time like Facebook. I'm done with FB too. I'm kind of done with chasing women too. I know myself I know I'm a great catch. I've gotten by grand without them.
Even if I never get back into the fab inner circle again, it's a fun new perspective on the world around me

I find the concept of dating sites to find a partner rather bizarre. Maybe I'm oldfashioned, but browsing through profiles and looking for a match based on very little information is a bit like playing the lottery, hit and miss with a good chance of beeing messed around. |

I have been trying to delete mine from POF for awhile now why cant they make it easier like tinder. I really hated tinder, i did not last to long there either. As someone has said a waste of time. I have cut down on FB and have thought of deleting that also . Very addictive all of them but it's not that it's something else .... |

societys perception of Fab v Tinder ... is that there are swingers (perverts) wanting casual nsa sex on Fab & similar sites... on Tinder sex may happen between consenting adults ... yet both sites are frequented by single men & women... so why is a one night stand ok on Tinder/POF but a one night stand on Fab is not ...if you are single you can have sex with whom ever you want...personally I think there are double standard ... for singles there is no difference ... except on a Fab profile everything is up front & in the open ... Fab v Tinder ... i would sooner be on Fab |
