As you are probably all aware Macmillan cancer are having a coffee morning o the 28th of Sept I was thinking holding one for fabbers great way to come along have a coffee and cake meet fellow fabbers and give a donation to charity any advice or help would be more than welcome

Organise it so that everyone's welcome (the more bums on seats paying for coffee the better) and if any fabbers are paying a visit then have a code word or phrase for when yous say hello to each other

This is a fantastic idea, Do you have a local hall in your area?

I'd be willing to pop up for a coffee and throw a few quid in the bucket.

To be honest I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of response in this as everyone of us has either been affected by cancer either personally or someone we know yes I have to agree Macmillan nurses do a wonderful job and I think they deserve are help and support yes j am looking at a few venues hopefully get something sorted early next week as I am working all weekend will keep everyone posted

It can be frustrating trying to the something like this together but I think it's the distance is the main hurdle to a lot more going. If there was one even in Dublin I'd head up to it.

This is obviously something you are passionate about but not everyone will share your passion xx

I work 6 days a week otherwise I'd love to attend and help this charity...lost both parents lately so know the work that Macmillan do

My work always has several in different departments. You may get more interest if you had a

date/location. Also the forums are only used by a small percentage of the site. There is an event option on the meet page you could use so it would be seen by more people
