Now that I caught your attention, can I just ask your opinion on the Irish forum atm.
Me.... I think it has gone very quiet/boring. So instead of moaning about it ,has anyone got any good ideas on how we can bring it back to life.

The forum's go through fits & fads I think. I haven't been on a lot as I have been hectic because of summer holidays etc...but thing's will settle down again soon.
The constant cycle of repetitive threads make it dull imo. Same shit, different day!
Silly light hearted easy threads are good to get conversation flowing like music, flirting, movies & I have never threads. |

I don't think it ever changes that much, simply that if you spend too much time here or have been a member for a long time, the repetitive nature is obvious. Every internet forum is the same in my experience, you eventually move on and find a new one which initially seems fresh and interesting but turns out the same once you get familiar with the vibes and the personalities involved.
Personally, quiet generally means the absence of toxic trolls, can only be a good thing, surely? |

Forums in general are slowly moving into the past and losing their appeal...the main reason being that people want instant replies, responses and the chance to get into conversation.. for that reason people move towards chat rooms as it facilitates discussion rather than making a post and having to wait sometimes hours for a response...
It's unfortunate but just the way the world is moving..consumerism at its finest in the swinging world lol
Chat rooms aren't for everyone so forums will always be here but I see them getting more quiet as time goes by |

I think there's more anonymity on the forums. I don't do chat rooms . I don't get anything from them. Not saying they don't work just saying they're not for me. |

Agreed they aren't for everyone but it's just the speed of response that appeals.. look at this topic as an example..it took off this morning..but other days responses could be hours apart..
There will always be a forum..but it will mostly be the same people who use them I think |

I agree with you OP that the forum has gone a bit stale recently, a noticeable lull in here which I feel can be attributed to the summer winding down, people spending less time on the site as mentioned above. I've also noticed a few regular contributors haven't been as active. Case in point I put up a positivity thread a couple of Sundays ago and it had good involvement, around 100 replies, similar post last weekend didn't reach 50. I'm sure the forums will pick up again soon, good post OP.  |

As said above stay here long enough you'll see the same cycle over and over again. Squirting, pegging,rimming,why can't I get a meet...etc etc...

Maybe its better for it to be a bit quiet instead of people constantly trying to get each other banned? I know some of that still goes on but a lot of people have calmed down and its a lot easier to just ignore and threads dont descend into arguments. |
