So what's your ladies opinions on braces?

I'm getting them after already having them in my teens but it seems they didn't know back then, that your teeth can go crooked again.....which mine have, now have to get them again....so, is it wierd/a turn off for guys my age to have them!? Ha

I had braces a couple of years ago and was never given a retainer, instead he put like a permanent retainer which is a thin bar at the back of my teeth... dont even notice it after a couple of weeks nd stops the hassle of a keeping a retainer clean and changing every now and then

I had braces years ago and was given a retainer to wear at night and I also had the permanent wire at the back of my teeth but after a few years that came away at one side so had to get it removed and they never put another one back on. I’ve noticed since the wire has gone that my teeth have moved again, would love to get them straight again

I like all the stories guys, apart from the last one, YOUCH!

I'm liking the supportive and related feelings they give you, so sincerely, thank you for sharing

But the main response I was looking for is still missing, haha

Turn off? Turn on? Does nothing for me/don't bother me?

Doesn’t bother me at all. Recently played with a guy who has them didn’t even notice

I too had braces in my early to mid teens. I don't think they took into consideration that wisdom teeth grow not many years later and teeth become crooked again. Bit silly really! My teeth now are still pretty straight but I wouldn't say no to braces now though no matter what the ladies thought of them!

Mr has braces on, he has them on for 18 months or more. He has the white ones and I don't even notice them, but I do notice the results

QUITE silly! Ha

Ah yeah it's not gonna stop me getting them cause I need it to be done, otherwise my teeth will get worse and may cause damage and who knows what'll cost to fix then but just curious to know peoples thoughts on them, ya know yourself

I bet you do Mrs! Ha

I'm not getting the clear ones, takes longer like nearly two years (as you obviously know) I'm getting the metal ones cause it'll onlt take bout 9 months then....there are some things that you're better off getting done faster, ha

Manchester

I have them on now. Metal ones too. I've not really had a noticeable difference in reactions from people. They few odd comments but nothing too bad. I was conscious at 1st but you get used to them quickly
