Parkrun is a worldwide event. Free timed weekly 5ks. All you need to do is register and print off your barcode. Go to parkrun ireland for details of your local event and events all over the country. All thats asked of you is volunteer ... usually one in four. These are run completely on a voluntary basis

Wow thats brilliant !!! Ive only started to register for the run itself ... i was core team for 2 years. Ours is hilly mucky and on grass. Its tough

What's your next tee shirt???

250, probably take 3 years to get there, so maybe 25 volunteer will be next.

Maybe I need to include yours in my parkrun tourism (or do a freedom one before the pint of Guinness )

Just had to pull out from my 1st HM as I have a calf injury. I can manage a parkrun in about 33 mins now but my best was 30.01

Had lots of tears making the decision but had to be done. Will aim for my first to be early new year I expect.
