It's always the risk we take when booking & paying for a room. Did ye discuss paying half before you committed to book..
He must of had his reasons for leaving the way he did which wasn't really nice |

Definitely a topic that will bring up differing viewpoints, everyone is entitled to our own opinions though and they should be respected irrespective of own thoughts, that's what the forums are about...
Sorry that happened to you OP, had you both chatted about splitting cost of the hotel room beforehand? |

It really depends on the pre-meet agreement. No obligation to stay but If it was agreed to share costs, he's a dick. |

There’s always 3 sides to a story. In this case there’s his side, her side and the truth.
However, no woman should be treated like that. No matter how he was treated he should NEVER ha done that to her.

I understand it should be shared but I always pay for it. The ladies have offered to share but for me, I do not allow any lady pay a share. It's like bringing a lady out on a date and expecting her to pay for her meals. |

This is the right attitude. However if she wants to pay a round in the bar I accept that. But only one round on her and no more. You know some women feel bad if they don't have even a small share in the bills. |

I understand but they might feel bad because they feel the need to pay but Its not something I can let them pay for. If we agree a meet, I book the place, end off. Even the drink at the bar, I would offer to pay for it but only let them pay for their own if they insist. |

I think it's different for different meets... If its a regular we use a you pay, I pay the next time etc, we have also booked hotels and asked someone around so we wouldn't ask for half as we were staying anyway or being invited around to hotels by men on business etc we wouldn't pay half. Once it's decided before hand it's all good as we have been left on soooooo many occasions booking and paying for hotels and never mind them not chipping in they have just not turned up  |
