Hi folks, where in Dublin do you think is the best place, bars etc, to meet swinging couples in or around Dublin city centre? Or is it always a case of making pre arrangements?

Being a couple yourself it is very unlikely you will meet a couple who swings on a night out.

Too many variables.

1) Both couples would have to find each other attractive.

2) Two people within these parties would first have to initiate flirting.

3) After that, at some point, someone has to show their hand so to speak and let the other party know they would like fun as a group.

4) Friends In an ideal world two couples would just get chatting in some random bar but in reality people keep their swinging habits to themselves. So it is very hard to conceal your chosen sexual lifestyle if you are seen flirting with an individual/couple all night then you suddenly go home with them (While some people might not care and or hide this from their friends quite masterfully. some couples will worry about what their friends may think or perceive)

5) While swinging is now popular than ever due to the internet. Everyone has to accept the reality that most couples don't do it. So that means even if both couples spend a night chatting in a bar. Flirting with each other and what not. It will most likely still come down to a response of "ehh... no!" when propositioned.

There is a reason why this website exists. If this sort of thing happened on a weekly basis with ease there would be no need for a FabSwingers.

Its a pity there isnt a swinger 'friendly' bar as such that only those in the know 'know' if that makes sense!'. Years ago the Front Lounge was seemingly swinger friendly in the Front bar, particularly around the piano area whilst up the steps to the Back Lounge was a gay friendly bar.

Thanks Dublinjock...yea that pretty much sums it alright. Pity there wasnt a swinger friendly bar as lolabelke2018 mentioned but if there was, i think you would still have a mix of those using the bar and those being more discreet using the net still.
