I do like to listen to a good old podcast while falling asleep, esp the murder mystery ones. I've listened to Serial 1 and 2 and S-Town, a bunch of Undisclosed and I'm planing to listen to West Cork soon, I also pop on Joe Rogan depending on who's his guest is and a bit of Sam Harris always puts me to sleep.

Anyone got any other good podcast, any topic, style or genre will do?

Joe Rogan is definitely worth a listen to. He has all kinds of guests on and they go over a wide rang of topics. And it's hilarious!

He is but I'm not that into the fight ones and he seems to have an endless supply of comics on, which is great but I do like to learn something too if I can, his ones with Dr Ronda Patrick were amazing.......and he had Macaulay Culkin on yesterday who actually seemed like a really nice guy!

Yeah I'm not fussed on the fight ones myself. That's the thing I learn something every time I listen to him haha. Must look that one up actually!

Is Sam Harris any use? I've read half of his book about spirituality and found it very good.

I like Jordan Peterson in small doses.

Sam is good, I'm not into the spirituality side of life but his views on religion and other topics are a must, he's super intelligent. Peterson is good too but I feel he lacks personality, he's almost to scientific in his thinking. Sam and Jordan did 2 podcast together and the first was a mess, the 2nd was really good tho

Martyr Made - especially the series on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History.

Jocko Wilink has a good series on various military history books and leadership. He can be a bit intense but covers some excellent books if you are into all things military.

Can't stand that Jocko clown. Famous for being a murderer in a fake war, fuck that.

Harris and Peterson are both extremely smart but Peterson is a bit intense for sure (and falsely demonised because he upsets the hard core leftwing nutbags)

This is a personal thing but I just can't stand that guy, I like the things he talks about but I just can't take to him and I've no reason why I feel like that

Great podcast, he always has a comedian on the panel alongside the experts.

He makes the subjects more accessible to us mere mortals.

That 1984 audio book is awesome, the voice of the reader makes it even more real
