I received a few random messages from a "woman" off here a few weeks ago. Borderline reportable content about how she feels about my posts on the threads. "Who do you think you are, having an opinion?" shit like that. Didn't really bother me but I saved her messages.
Just noticed there is a guy on the threads now with the same name as that "woman".(prob just co-inky dink)
The strange thing is, shes vanished. Not a "user no longer on site" in sight. her messages have disappeared from all my folders (sent, saved and received) and threads that I know she started or commented on have disappeared?????
That's all. Thinking out loud. Just thought it weird. |

Yep and unfortunately it's given rise to abusive messages that then cannot be reported or even kept to use in a police report unless they've been screen printed. Fab won't help you out either now with that issue.
Simple way for fab admin to avoid having to get involved in such cases now and leaves many victims being repeatedly abusive and just deleting their profile as soon as the receiver opens the message.
Admin need to rethink this. A few peopke have already left fab over this very issue. |

It’s probably to do with new GDPR rules and the right to be forgotten. You can ask any company you have ever dealt with or worked for to delete everything about you, there are a few bits they may have to retain but everything else has to be removed forever within a certain time period from a request being made. https://gdpr-info.eu/art-17-gdpr/ |
