Hoping to get down for a good hike next weekend. Can anyone recommend their favourite routes?

Might also want a hiking buddy

There are maps etc on the net I heard. Lots of different routes for different abilities.

there are lots of organised walks in wicklow, just google it ... the Glendalough walks are great & well marked ... Miners village, Spinc & back via the Boardwalk, an enjoyable 12km walk

Garda vetted could just mean you've not been caught... I wouldn't go up the mountains with someone I didn't know just because they had Garda vetting

Sure even I have vetting and I'm a lunatic
