Strange story i watched good will hunting for the first time the day he died and i went on imdb to see his new films and he said he had died that day. I dont know if ots just coincidence or something else |

Only watched a documentary during the week about him with all his family and actor friends talking about working with him.. Truly it was heartbreaking watching it because I (Mr Eire) remember hiring VHS videos of his stand up routines and his shows like Mork and Mindy and thinking he was the funniest ever. Yet all the time he had a dark shadow following him..

Only watched a documentary during the week about him with all his family and actor friends talking about working with him.. Truly it was heartbreaking watching it because I (Mr Eire) remember hiring VHS videos of his stand up routines and his shows like Mork and Mindy and thinking he was the funniest ever. Yet all the time he had a dark shadow following him..

The saddest part of all this is we all know someone or know of someone exactly like Robin Williams, life and soul of every party, the one who lifts everyone else's spirits, but the one who crashes alone.

Yes, this is so very true Sally. They make an effort to be there for everyone else but when they need help themselves there is no one of the same calibre to help.. I can't believe how lonely I was watching that documentary being honest

I did the same ... now in hindsight i think you Can see the sadness in his eyes. I loved him .. he mad me belly laugh but the he could make you cry |

It's ok not to be ok . And in his case he battled long and hard.
Very talented actor. If only he could see what we could, couldn't make himself laugh and suffered.
Mrs doubtfire still makes me laugh and seen it numerous times. |

Watched the Documentary myself and then phoned a friend like this I should have phoned weeks ago. We all know someone who could use a phone call or someone calling in. I was too late once and never want to be again.
Robin was indeed a comic genius. |

The world lost a comic genius and a great actor when Robin Williams died...his movies ranged from the sublime (Dead Poet's Society, Good Will Hunting, Mrs Doubtfire) to the ridiculous (Flubber, RV) but always lit up by the effervescent Mr Williams....I was so saddened by his passing |

Mork calling Orsen, come in Orsen.
Truly a sad loss for all who loved him on and off screen. Good will hunting has always been one of my favourites, loved all aspects of his acting ability especially his humour but also loved his serious side.
A dark heavy cloud to live your life under.
Reach out to those around you, especially the one's you think are doing ok.
