we're the same, and like to wink as first contact, especially with new members, during that wee period when they've just joined and sound good on paper, but have no pics up or anything yet. great way to say we may be interested but aren't promising too much |

I hate when we get winks and a friend request at the same time without even a message, don't mind the wink but don't like the friend request without some sort of chatting first. |

I think winks are a good way to say 'Hi I've viewed your profile and you sound nice..'......but do agree that a friends invite with or without a wink or chat is just to be deleted!  |
