Hi guys, just wanted to get some ideas down as to why the ladies and couples on this site don’t reply to your emails. I’ll touch on sexual selection and evolutionary biology, although there’s a lot more to say on both subjects.
Whilst it’s true that some ladies on here get a lot of emails, I don’t think that’s the only reason for a no reply. Based on our own experience, when you reply in the negative people take it one of three ways – 1. graciously, 2. as an invitation to dialogue, or 3. as an excuse to vent their frustration. The first is good, the second can be annoying, but the third is a horrible experience and happens a lot more than you might think. Take this recent exchange between us and another couple
They: Hi, wanna meet up tonight
We: No thanks
They: Why not
We: We’re not interested
They: F** off, you’re too F** old anyway
Charming. But let’s not judge too harshly. When a woman rejects a man, she makes the harshest judgement against his whole being; “You are not worthy to propagate your genes into the next generation”. And since, from a biological and evolutionary perspective, gene propagation is the only point that life has, this is not just a judgement, it’s a condemnation. Consider that you have twice as many female ancestors as male ancestors, so being a breeder and being successful, throughout human history, is far from certain for men. Now extrapolate that to the population dynamics of this site, with the men to women ratio possible of an order of magnitude, and you can understand the tensions.
All this is a very long winded (although we have more to say on the subject) way of saying that we no longer reply to mails from people in whom we have no interest. And I think it makes the most sense, given the tensions at play. |

It's very simple. Everyone on this site has the free choice to reply,send or delete a message.
Why the same threads pop on the forums is pretty simple!
Over expectations.
On the top of the forums should be the top 5 most posted, this way maybe the whinging ball bags might just might get their answers.

The same themes keep been visited time and time again. The forums wouldn't last very long if people, men, women and couples couldn't discuss their experiences on the site.
Everyone just have to accept some basic facts. Some people aren't going to get many reply and some are going to start a new thread about. |

Good question it's because sexually successful males impregnated two women on average, but only half of males were sexually successful, historically. This is well established by evolutionary biologists.
If you think about it, men have the capacity to impregnate many women, but women are limited by having to wait 9 months at least between impregnations. Plus women have limited breedng time.
Genghis Khan, as an extreme example, has contributed about half of one percent of the world's DNA, and up to 8% in Asia  |

I usually respond to messages, have never had an abusive response to telling someone we're not interested, some just don't respond but most thank us for the reply.
That said, we use filters which cuts out a lot of nonsense, and people who clearly didnt read our profile before messaging are often ignored.
Right now, we can't meet, so everyone is blocked, only people we have previously messaged can get through.
Manage your profile properly folks, save yourself and others a lot of wasted time and angsty reactions. |
