Odd topice buy I'm going nuts here. Is it just me, country bumpkin that I am, but the amount of flies this year is awful !!! I mortally wouldn't usee sprays but I think I'm going to !!! I can't take the little yokes any more. Anyone else the same ??? |

Vicious carnivorous little bastard's!!! I am coastal based but was inland last weekend and was treated like I was an all you can eat buffet. I don't normally get bitten but they are gone mad from the heat I think. |

There are actually fuck all insects around anymore, including flies. Not that long ago you would have to scrape thousands of them off your windscreen after an evening/night drive. Not anymore. Loss of habitat and criminal overuse of pesticides and killers are ruining our biodiversity. Global warming is not the biggest challenge facing the planet but mass pollution and natural habitat destruction is our greatest threat. |

Try burning citronella oil in a burner. You can get citronella candles but make sure it has the essential oil in it.  |

Insects need moisture so that's why there has-been hardly any the small bit of rain is only the start of them ,they will be coming out if the ground in their drives very soon  |
