Do we ( the Irish) apologise too much.
I’m starting to take the word out of my conversations and find it a little liberating ...
What do u people think ?

"Sorry is as difficult to say sincerely as it is to acknowledge a complement"
I kinda mean being apologetic when it’s not necessary
Example ... sorry ur not my type ...
Instead of saying ur not my type but thank u .

I worked for an English roofing company in Gibraltar years ago, and was fined £1 sterling by my colleges every time I said "Sorry"
They used to say to me "what are you sorry For"? That didn't stop me so a fine system was introduced and it didn't take me too long after that to quit, probably only £50 or £60 |

I find the word sorry when you really mean it one of the hardest words to say .. usually when I mean it sorry don't seem to cut it .. but I use it too much in my everday life and I'm going to stop only use it when really necessary |
