Putting on a show...

Thank you to Mother Nature for the most spectacular light show last night. I was out on the coast, sitting in a car when I spotted the waves breaking. We walked down and the place was absolutely magical as every foot step in the wet sand was lit up with the phosphorescence. The waves breaking were lit up like a light show being put on for us. It was so beautiful. I have seen it before and have been out on the water at night when it was present but my friend hadn't and was stunned. Anyone else had the pleasure of witnessing this beautiful phenomenon

Saw it on France to Ireland ferry years ago. Very calm sea and as the waves were rippling away from the ship, there was a fluorescent shimmer to the tip of them. Never forgot it, as it was beautiful
