Just noticed some guys using their status to post who had "blocked" them or was a "no show" at an arranged meet ... guys shit happens, people can choose who they talk to or meet ..

Guys its not White Knighting its respecting the ladies choice ... No means no & Fuck off means Fuck off ... accept that you didnt score but there is no need to be abusive or to be shaming people ... if you cannot handle rejection then you are on the wrong site . |

I recently had a meet 2 hrs drive away - paid for hotel etc etc - If she didnt show i'd be fucking fuming - and naming her wouldnt be beyond the realms of possibility.
If ye were just blocked then ye - get over it - im blocked by half the site  |

Works both ways Op as have seen women using their local status update to name and shame guys for "no shows" or being "assholes"
Also it's very easy to say "get over it" but how about a man or couple who've booked a babysitter and hotel room only to be stood up and out of pocket 100-200 quid. Op, would you feel like venting just a little or warning others if you were in their shoes??
I don't name & shame myself but can understand other people's annoyance at times in these situations... |

How is naming and shaming going help if u being stood up on a meet or blocked.
Its not going to resolve anything.only bring more negativity to the situation.being a online site it will happen.
As for the blocking.i have blocked a few.a good few have blocked me.leaves more time for chatting with potentials in my opinnion. |

This community is small enough, no shows, rude and disrespectful people get found out pretty quickly by word of mouth.
But there is a flip side to that coin. People we wouldn't necessarily be so hot on, other people have raved about. Just as people who we felt were amazing might not be someone else's cup o'tea.

I wouldn't bother naming a no show on our status but I would spread the word 
OP I don't understand your attitude of its the woman's right to chose who they meet etc?! That's pure crap... just because she's a woman does not give her the right to not turn up ! It's as shitty as ANYONE else not turning up for a meet. Don't arrange a meet if you have no intentions of turning up |

Reporting inappropriate behavior and moving on is the best thing to do. If there's anything you can learn from an experience, to prevent you from going through similar issues in future, all the better.

I see this with peoples statuses all the time. I don't find it useful. We are in several kik groups though and if someone is abusive or rude the fashion is to screen shot it along with one of the profile and share it via the group. We have blocked a few people on the back of these and with the number of worthless profiles increasing these groups are becoming more and more useful. |

Ppl block for all sorts or reasons including just filtering out those who they know from even seeing their profile that they wont be compatible with. Would take it to heart op... just move on. Lots more people who you might click with on fab. |

Nice to know some of my forum posts get read .
As for respecting women or being a white knight .
As a father of 3 girls, having sister & working with women ... I defend my right to stand up for women.
I dont mind that I am not an Alpha male or a lad ... its nice to be nice ... i do not think there is a place for abusive messages or feeling superior .. although on this site perhaps it is beneficial to be a bad boy..perhaps i would get more meets with an ego transplant.
As for jobs like taking out the bins ... there are lots of jobs the ladies do that i couldnt or wouldnt ... share the work |
