Organising my first social as a single (the poor other half has enough on his hands dealing with me). This will be a social in a public place, all are welcome, couples, women, tgirl and men but I will have to balance out numbers so men will go on a reserve list as is the norm. So 14th September Drogheda town, please message me if you are interested and we'll see what the North East has to offer.

Just looking at Trivago & other hotel booking sites ... Drogheda on 14 sept is €100-200 ... is there something on thst weekend in Drogheda... even the b&b are v pricy...D hotel is €186 on their own website  |

Checked D's Hotel website just now...can't see any double rooms available....cheapest they have is 195 euro for a standard twin room...without brekkie....family/triple rooms etc still available. |

Just saying, I believe that the Fleadh stays in each place for 2years. If that's the case, presuming that this goes wey, you should consider organising next year's one either weekend of the Fleadh.

That's a good idea but hotel rooms would be at a premium either weekend of Fleadh. |
