There is no justification for anyone to sell another human being. Irreguardless of geographical location it is morally and ethnically wrong to sell a human being. Islam certainly has a whole set of problems of it's own that is for sure and in a thread where a similar topic is posted I would speak about it.
Are there good people who are catholic ? Yes, of course there are. Is every priest a vile abuser ? Absolutely not.
I'd say there are far more priests who do not abuse than those who do.
The issue is from the top down. It is the covering up of thousands of cases all over the world. It is the reshuffling of the pack and expecting the problems with the abusers to disappear .
That is the issue. Covering up for monsters is the issue.
Be that the catholic church, those who are muslim, those who are evangelical christians, hindus, sikhs, buddhists etc. Whoever covers up those acts as protocol deserves to be called out on it.
It just so happens in this instance it is the catholic church.
Feeding the homeless does not give a free pass to abuse kids no matter what the institution. |

The Catholic church isn't perfect ? That's quite an understatement. Would you have the same opinion if you had a kid who was abused by a priest and heard the punishment for the priest was he was moved to a new area to prey on other kids ? If so, shame on you
My ooinion on the catholic church has caused no abuse to any kid. If you can show me evidence to the contrary then go ahead or show me how people who call out those who abuse kids/sell kids/operated mother and baby homes are worse than those responsible for such atrocities. |
