Well, I've fallen in love through a sexual relationship but I've never had the quantity of sex increase, after a "bedding in" period, through a love relationship, though the quality has improved at times. Hope that reads right.
So, sex would be my choice, as it gets better with practice, can become amazing and, if both people are open to the notion, can become the start of love, though if love is out, you can continue having great sex  |

Love v Sex
An interesting question, also interesting that the word sex is used rather than making love.
There is little doubt that as humans we need both, in our youth probably the balance is more in the sex direction.
But we all want to be loved & to find ourselves in a loving relationship.
As we age the emphasis is probably more towards the loving relationship and in that loving relationship the sex is different & is making love.
But without a doubt it is possible to have sex without love, men manage it & many women on Fab are happy to engage in sex without all the baggage that love brings.
If I were to choose then long term as I head into older age I would chose love

As someone who has only ever had sex and never love I’d happily give up sex to be loved. No strings sex has left me feeling hollow worthless and lonely. |
