So friend of mine has accused me of trying to steal his girlfriend because we talk a lot in his words which is mostly his fault because every time he messes up he asks me to talk to her to see how she's feeling. No do I stop talking to his girlfriend now this would be easy to do if she wasn't telling me how she loves talking to me because I make her laugh etc so seems bit harsh to stop talking what fabbers think |

Not sure what your intent is, but if your friend has asked you to stop talking to his GF, surely your plan of action is to stop talking to her? Or are you asking is it okay to actually try steal his missus, which is what id see it as if you continue to talk to her behind his back. Suppose the real question is how much do you respect your friend and his wishes? |

"I think shit is coming down the line and you should get out of its path.
You can hook up with her after they break up."
And you'll have a new girlfrind and an ex-best friend.. this will end badly |

Not much of a friend if you not going to respect his wishes.
Its his relationship so unless you have alterior motives why would you continue to chat with his girlfriend |

I would assume throwing the initial accusation out there is the same as asking you to stop. Either way, seems like your mind is made up, since you havent been friends long. Just remind me never to be your 'friend' |

I'd never move in on a friends girl in fact I basically half my personality when I'm around them so they don't even get ideas. I'm. Basically polite and never text or call them or have any one on one contact. I was with a girl that fancied my friend a few year back but he didn't like her thank god and would always say "why does she always text me?" so was always honest. I dumped her before she could mess around. |

Either way he isn't a very good friend for accusing u of trying to rob his gf n ur not a very good friend for even thinking it. Friendship is based around trust. Either way if u''s are very good friends she is out of bounds if the break up or not. Don't be that guy. |

I was once and felt terrible to the point I had to come clean to him. He took it as well as could be expected and we are still friends
Clearly you have been trying to steal his girlfriend for a long time and started this thread to justify your actions to yourself...
I pity anyone that considers you a friend OP and am just waiting to see how badly this backfires |

If a friend told me to stop talking to his girlfriend it tells me that he doesn't trust me or his girlfriend. So I would say that he isn't much of a friend. If there's no trust in a relationship/friendship it's probably best both end.
A friend of mine gave me a ticket for a concert he knew I wanted to go to that he didn't. I went with his girlfriend and her friend. Had a great night, nothing sexual at all. Just a great nights craic. They wholeheartedly trust each other so this wasn't an issue at all. |

You changed your tune fair fast. At the end of the day friends should respect friends. If he asks you to help smooth things over and you do and then he asks you to back off you should. Friends help friends. He's not sounding like he wouldn't go off with the woman so the guy accusing him is right to trust his gut instinct. |

How about talking to the two of them together at the same time? Call a meeting with them or just set up a group chat and end everyone's fears or fantasies. |

Like don't chat with him behind her back and her behind his back. Say what you want to say to the two of them when the two of them are around. No tip toeing about or sneaky texts etc.. |

Ok so if he is your friend then the question is.... are you his?
There are some lines that should never be crossed.
If him and her weren't in a relationship then that would be a different ball game. |

I didn't change my tune. I'd say it as a threat. In other words don't accuse me of something I didn't do. |
