"Does it happen usually that people you meet through fab then you leave them a veri but in return they leave fab without verifying you.
Thoughts please?"
Some people leave for their own reasons. I’ve met people before and verified them and they haven’t verified me. It’s not a one for one sort of thing. It’s just what happens on Fab and I wouldn’t spend too long worrying about it because you’ll never understand some of the shite that people do on Fab unfortunately. |

"You're already verified OP. Are you really that bothered if someone doesn't give you additional verifications? Is getting the veri more important than having had the meet? "
I am verified yes, and I am not bothered but just felt it as rude. |

People view verification differently. If it was a repeat meet some don't bother with second verifications. People will fab their own way, same as you fab how suits you. Some say not responding to someone that you know you have no interest in is ruder than messaging them back and saying that you have no interest despite site rules saying no response equals no interest. Nobody is obliged to do anything here other than stay within the limits of the site rules. There are a variety of reasons people do thing's the way they do and here is no different. You can accept and move on or message and ask why. It's probably just Thier way and not intended rude but I suggest moving on. |

I left four verifications this week after a fantastic social, but received none in return. It is what it is, but I'd like to think it's the decent thing to do personally. Maybe they're too lazy and self-centred, maybe thoughtless, or maybe just simply not wired up that way. Either way you can be a decent person and have the satisfaction of having and applying your own set of standards, but you can never create or enforce that standard on others. You'll only end up bitter and that just leads to you dropping those standards. Set your own bar in everything mate - and hopefully that will be the thing that sets you apart. |

To be honest veris don't bother me, I have some great ones though I don't display them. For me if I meet someone its something between us. Too often I think people give veris which is more about themselves than the actual meet or the other person. I also prefer to get to know someone for who they are and not who someone else says they are for. Veris can perhaps let you know the person is genuine. Though with everything on here each to their own |

"Each to their own. Giving a veri doesn't mean they are obligated to veri back. I rarely veri and I don't show mine. They do tend to be quite sycophantic, so I don't read any either! "
Ah yes everyone is the soundest hottest person and the best sex ever . Have to learn to read between the lines |

That's s really good point, which is why I never mention the sex. I try to say something about the real person that genuinely reflects them, but it's true to say a lot make it sound as if the person is the best ever. |
