Spread a little line of washing powder between the flagstones, that will certainly do the job. Some say vinegar but haven't tried it. Can't avoid spraying if on gravel. I'd spray Roundup. |

Hypochlorite solution
I've used all the usual stuff from the garden center and nothing is a patch on this. Can be used to kill s and clean patios and fences. Needs a bit of precaution as it can bleach clothes. I dilute it 1/5 in a sprayer for easy use. |

White vinegar!
Forget about the overpriced killers, I've not bought any in years since I was recommended using white vinegar. On a hot day it will dry the little *bleeps* out easily. Then in a day or two just whip out the dead waste. |

There is a brilliant tool/gadget in lidl almost all yr round that cleans between flagstones...its a wire brush on a wooden handle...absolute life (& back) saver. As for the roundup...be very careful to spray when it's not breezy or promised wet overnight or it'll fail miserably. Also very toxic to pets, birds & kiddies. |

Very good advice. By the way if you put down washing powder between gallstones make sure you dampen/wet it afterwards. |

The deeper the bark they won’t grow back . B&Q is selling 4 large bark bags for €25. Pull out all the s then put more bark down
Do the same with the gravel .
Power wash the s away on the flag stones then get sand and pack it tightly in the gaps of the flag stones. If u don’t want to pull out the s use killer round up |

Three ways that might help....
1. Constant vigilance and regular ing will eventually reduce the s.( not your choice given the back)
2. Mulch... either bark or stones. Will keep the moisture in and the s to a minimum.
3. Put down a barrier. Like a plastic or purpose made one then mulch over it. This well almost eliminate the need to . It's takes planning and a bit of work but will reduce the s but the odd one will still make there way in.... happy gardening |

If you s are on a cobblelock driveway or similar there is plenty of spray on killers such as all. A cheaper alternative is the doff killer from aldi cost a tenner and you should get a couple of summers out of it. |

"Doesnt roundup fuck with bees though?"
Not if used as directed and there is ones that target just s. It's best for driveways and paths. Inbetween flowers the best is prep and manual skills. See previous post on 3 ways (not a threesome, 3 ideas on how to prevent Nd sort s) |

Never wifey
I used to grow veg in an organic allotment so couldn't use proper killer. This does the job grand and doesn't effect the bees. But don't use it near grass as it will also kill that. |
