If you think you are having a stroke get yourself to hospital now!
Don't wait til morning. It could just be an anxiety attack but as you say better safe than sorry.
Go get checked out.
Hope you are ok. |

I would say get to the hospital NOW! I hope you're already gone there. Even if it turns out to be a panic attack it's better to be safe than sorry. Sometimes a clot in other areas can manifest as symptoms of a stroke so please for your own well being and peace of mind go to the hospital. |

"F.A.S.T
F: facial drooping
A: Arm weakness
S: Speech difficulties
T:Time to call emergency services."
Yup that's exactly it. Time is also the most important factor in minimizing damage.
I really hope the OP is in the emergency dept now, and that it's all ok. |

"Thanks everyone was aniexty attack awful things they are "
Glad you're ok. I suffer from them myself from time to time. Have you looked into mindfulness or similar distraction techniques? There are some good videos on YouTube you should check out on guided mindfulness. |

Apparently it's not until after the fact that you can tell the difference?
Have you tried maybe taking to someone about it or looking for some help? So many great services available these days. In particular for anxiety you have www.oandaireland.ie and socialanxietyireland.com
The strongest thing a man can do is ask for help

The stroke unit doctors will be gone home by now, and the A&E will try discharge you to stop you taking up a trolley.
I know someone who had a stroke on Friday, and didnt get to see the doctors from the stroke unit till monday. Just left on a trolley for the whole weekend.
So bring a packed lunch with you, and when they try discharge you say no. |

Op with ur history never take a chance.get checked out.
The side effects are very serious if not caught in time and can stay with you for the rest of ur life.
Might be a idea to go to ur doctor or seek help about the panic /anxiety attacks |

Stroke is a medical emergency and is treated as such.. anybody that has a CVA is a priority in any hospital. |

Yes I was very lucky as didn't have permant damage even more so as few days before I went in for it I called ambulance out and I was convinced I was having panic attack even ambulance man thought was panic attack after doing some tests and even ambulance man that brought me in when I actually stayed in hospital for 16 days thought I had vertigo kept trying make me stand up when we were getting out ambulance even tho explained to them that I had no coordination in my legs and couldn't walk properly other then that the staff were fantastic for 16 days I was there. Was also very lucky not having permanent damage as took them while to diagnosis it as stroke as numerous tests were coming back fine wasn't till they send me for exam were they sent camera through me attires did they spot the bleed in my brain . Think also spooked myself googling things online were they talk about how I'm more likely to have second stroke after having the first one . Thanks for all the advice folks going see GP on Monday to talk through aniexty etc she's not available till them which find crazy but suppose lot people need medical care |
