We both train in a gym.
Hard at weights, and a good balance of cardio with several spin classes included.
It works great for us. |

I go the gym regularly and lift heavy (I don’t have a “gym”bod) you don’t need to be slim to be a powerlifter. I eat to lift.. so for performance rather than weight loss. Although I’ve been watching the nutrition the last while and enjoying the effects. |

I lift 3-4 times a week and try and combine weights with some sort of HIIT session. My diet is my downfall I eat really well but love chocolate. If you’re really serious about dropping body fat the best way to go about it is to create a calorie deficit and train really hard and lift heavy. If you calculate your BMR and then multiply it by 1.4/1.6 depending on how active you are and then take in 10% less calories a day that should help a lot. So if your bmr is roughly 2,200 a day just take in less than that daily (1,980), easier said than done. Good luck ???? |

I do not use gym so often. Long distance walks and swimming keeps me in good shape. I was vegan over a year, now I'm vegetarian. Just added eggs to my diet and don't eat junk food. Make sure to eat regularly, drink 2-3 l of mineral water every day and exercise min 30min daily. Thats all

I haven't been to the gym since I was 20. I've had a seriously physical job for the last 10 years where serious strength is needed. I've actually had to purposely eat wieght gaining foods to keep the wieght and strenght up. But away from that job now n all going well and feeling great. |

"That's me but excellent at yoga if that counts?"
Snap! I enjoy it too, great for the body. I'm possibly in better shape now than when I was in the gym.
I also do HIIT training twice a week. All great for some injuries I have. |

Gotta say, for me at least, when I’ve had a shit day and my heads melted, there’s nothing better than cranking up my Spotify Liftng playlist and hitting the weights hard... working out should always be something you do for you and not to look good in s T-shirt.. least that’s why I do it anyways.. |

Far from a gym bunny. Why pay hard cash to use a stair master when your house/office/apartment has stairs. I bike, trek and generally get my sorry ass out into the big bad world. Biking up a mountain is a killer but the return trip is amazing. It’s a dead flies on the teeth type thing. |

" Well said you don't need a gym to get fit and healthy.Lots of outdoor activities to keep fit and healthy and it doesn't cost you a cent.

I lift my shopping bags in and out of the car. Does that count?
On a serious note I did my years of gym when living near city centre. Now living on the hill I've plenty of outdoor possibilities to exercise. Today I go cycling. |

I'm afraid there won't be a wedding but my ass is quite a good shock absorber. |

Gas or fluid damper? What’s your recoil action like? Bet it could handle 100mm of travel. |

I go to the gym 4-6 times a week. But I have a terrible diet. I think I just have a really high metabolism so I find it hard to put on weight.
Off to get my brekkie roll now!ha |

Bet when you bottom out the noise of the chain slap down by your bottom bracket is something to behold.
Okay I’m running out of mountain biking euphemisms. |
