Galway unbeaten in league until the final, certainly the current best in the west and with such a young team they're set to dominate there for some years.
This mayo team have had enough chances, they are done now, new blood required.
Experts in failure for sure. |

Delighted with the result.
Mayo shot themselves in the foot once again. Only themselves to blame. Galway got the job done and should improve. Mayo however are critically ill and one more knock will kill this team.
Poor tom parsons got a horrific injury. At the end of the day its only sport. He has a long road ahead.... |

I very much doubt mayo will go further than Galway. Galway might make a simi final. Mayo havent a hope now. In fairness both teams looked very average today

I have to agree with you there. Galway look like they have more potential, a better bench and a fitter squad.
Sad to see Tom Parsons being stretchered off and also Paul Conroy not being able to come back on. I've read that he may have a broken jaw. |

If a fella did that on the street he would get jail. He has been involved in things like that before too..
What really annoyed me was a large section of the mayo supporters were going crazy at the referee for the sending him off.
I thought the ref was very fair. |
